After viewing the pilot at their biannual channel content conference, commissioning editor, Feroza Katz, remarked, “Die paneel was stomgeslaan.” (The panel was dumbstruck.) The bottom line came down to, “Make it ultra-glam.” Romney Park is a simply spectacular experience, so to follow through with this singular notion was easy. The decor moves subtly from African chic to strongly colonial with seminal antiques and objects d’art. The views of the Atlantic seaboard, Robben Island and the Greenpoint Stadium are hard to beat. Recently, the marketing team at Aquila approached us for a 5 minute promotional video about the reserve. The brief was simple: after viewing the video, the viewer must feel compelled to visit Aquila.
